Cartersville/Bartow County Housing Market for November 2023
Bonnie's Takeaways
We are almost at the end of the year. November is traditionally the slowest time of the year in home sales. However, this has been the slowest November in the past 10 years. Only 79 single family homes have sold which is down 22% over this time last year. However, with that being said, every other statistic is up. There are slightly more homes on the market and that brings the months worth of homes that we have in inventory up to 4.5 months. Even with more homes on the market and more competition for those available buyers, The average home price and the median home price is still rising. Experts are predicting a slow drop in mortgage rates next year and a continuing rise in home prices in some areas and a drop in others. As they say, location, location, location and I believe the Cartersville/Bartow area is in a very desirable area.
